Experience Norway’s wild beauty up close

Join our Lysefjord RIB Safari from the heart of Stavanger – a high-speed fjord adventure that takes you straight into one of Norway’s most iconic natural wonders. Feel the rush of fresh sea air, the power of the RIB boat, and the silence of nature as you explore Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), Whisky Waterfall, and Vagabond’s Cave.

Perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, and adventure seekers, this shared tour combines speed, nature, and storytelling – guided by experienced local skippers who bring Lysefjord’s legends to life.

From cityscape to wilderness

Your fjord journey starts right in the center of Stavanger, only a five-minute walk from the cruise terminal. After gearing up in warm floating suits and a short safety briefing, you’ll board one of our powerful RIB boats and cruise through Stavanger’s charming harbor.

See the city’s highlights from the water – Old Stavanger, Tollboden, and the Norwegian Petroleum Museum – before your skipper opens the throttle. In moments, you’ll be gliding across open waters toward the majestic fjords, surrounded by rocky islands and crystal-clear seas.

Where Nature Takes Over

As you enter the world-famous Lysefjord, the scenery shifts into something truly extraordinary. The fjord opens like a natural cathedral, with towering granite cliffs that rise more than a thousand meters straight from the deep-blue water. Sunlight dances across the rock walls, waterfalls plunge from dizzying heights, and the echo of nature surrounds you in every direction. This is the moment you feel it – that breathtaking “wow” that Lysefjord is known for.

Above you, majestic sea eagles often circle effortlessly, scanning the water below. Along the fjord, you may spot playful porpoises breaking the surface, curious seals sunbathing on the rocks, and untouched wilderness stretching as far as the eye can see. This is Norway at its most wild and awe-inspiring.

Your skipper will make several scenic stops, giving you time to capture photos of Preikestolen’s legendary cliff face, the serene waterfalls, and the dramatic fjord landscape. With each stop, you’ll hear stories, legends, and local insights that bring Lysefjord’s magic even closer – allowing you to connect with the fjord’s raw beauty in a way few travelers ever experience.
